AL-HARTHA WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Al-Gharraf Oil Services (AGOS) played a central role in the commissioning and ongoing operation of the Al-Hartha Water Treatment Plant in Basra, one of Iraq's most strategic water infrastructure assets. From July 2021 to June 2023, AGOS worked as a subcontractor to the Veolia-OTV and Hitachi joint venture during the commissioning phase. With a design capacity of 300,000 m³/day, the plant is the largest pretreatment and RO system supplying potable water to Basra, meeting both Iraqi and WHO standards.
